Nvidia and Hyundai Motor Group have announced a multi-year partnership to accelerate the development of artificial intelligence (AI) in robotics and mobility.
Nvidia’s AI Tech Takes Center Stage
The partnership will focus on expanding South Korea’s influence in the AI space, leveraging Nvidia’s AI computing platform across various Hyundai Motor Group subsidiaries, including Hyundai Motor, Kia, and Genesis.
Nvidia’s software suite, particularly its Deep Learning (DLSS) and DLSS Super Sampling technologies, will be integrated into Hyundai’s production lines, enhancing the company’s robotics capabilities and enabling more efficient manufacturing processes.
Mobility and the AI Revolution
The partnership also aims to accelerate the commercialization of Autonomous Electric Vehicles (AEVs) by combining Nvidia’s AI computing platform with Hyundai’s expertise in mobility technologies.
South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Group isn’t the only one exploring AEVs. Tech giant, Google has its Waymo subsidiary, while Amazon has acquired Zozi, which has been working on AEV technology. Hyundai’s AI collaboration with Nvidia is poised to take its mobility solutions to the next level.
What this means
This partnership will not only accelerate the development of AI in robotics and mobility but also drive innovation in South Korea’s AI sector. By combining Nvidia’s AI computing platform with Hyundai’s expertise in mobility technologies, the collaboration will lead to more efficient and safer vehicles on the road.
