Winners are selected by a panel of critics and journalists who cover the New York theater scene. This year’s ceremony was held at Sardi’s, a legendary restaurant in the heart of the Theater District, where winners and nominees gathered to celebrate their achievements.

The 2026 Outer Critics Circle Awards also honored other notable productions, including the hit musical Hadestown, which won two awards, and the critically acclaimed play The Minutes, which took home three.
