The Arkansas women’s basketball team ended its 16-game losing streak on Sunday, defeating Auburn 70-41 at Bud Walton Arena. The Razorbacks’ first SEC win of the season was led by senior Wyvette Mayberry, who scored a season-high 25 points on her Senior Day.
Mayberry’s Big Performance

The daughter of Arkansas men’s basketball great Lee Mayberry was 7 for 12 from the field, 6 for 8 from beyond the arc, and 5 for 6 from the free-throw line.
Razorbacks’ Strong Defense
Arkansas’ defense was a key factor in the win, holding Auburn to its second-lowest scoring output of the season. The Razorbacks mixed up their defense, playing a sagging zone that gave up perimeter looks to a Tigers team that has struggled from 3-point range this season.
