Glow, a cybersecurity startup founded by former Meta and Snowflake executives, has emerged from stealth with a $1.2 billion valuation, setting its sights on a new class of endpoint risks in the AI era.
As AI agents and developer tools rapidly gain traction inside enterprises, Glow aims to tackle the growing challenge of securing employee development environments from sophisticated threats. These environments, which involve the use of AI-powered tools for tasks like code review and testing, have become increasingly vulnerable to attacks.
The AI-powered endpoint security market is a $10 billion industry, and Glow is looking to capitalize on its growth by providing a new type of protection that’s specifically designed to counter AI-facilitated threats. The startup’s technology uses machine learning to identify and block malicious activity, even when attacks are carried out using AI-generated code.
A New Class of Endpoint Risks

“Hackers are using AI to generate code that looks like it comes from a legitimate developer,” said Jon Oberheide, co-founder and CEO of Glow. “Our technology is designed to detect and block this type of activity, even when it’s carried out using AI.”

Glow’s emergence from stealth comes at a time when the AI-powered endpoint security market is experiencing rapid growth. The market is forecasted to reach $20 billion by 2025, driven by the increasing adoption of AI and machine learning technologies inside enterprises.
Glow is looking to capture a significant share of this market with its AI-powered endpoint security solution. The startup has already received significant funding, including a $100 million Series A round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
