TCS Launches India’s First Oracle AI Data Platform Lab in Kolkata
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) just set up the country’s first Oracle AI Data Platform Lab and Centre of Excellence in Kolkata, in partnership with Oracle.
The state-of-the-art facility at Delta Park Lords will cater to businesses looking to streamline their operations and make the most of AI and data analytics, tackling issues like slow data systems and limited AI scalability. It’ll serve as a hub for co-innovation and testing of Oracle’s AI data platform, the AI Data Platform (AIDP) lab.
Addressing Data-Related Challenges
The AIDP lab addresses the challenges of fragmented data systems, slow analytics cycles, and operational inefficiencies that many businesses face, particularly in India. It will provide the necessary tools and expertise to help customers harness the power of AI and data analytics.
“The TCS Oracle AI Data Platform Lab and Centre of Excellence will help customers accelerate their adoption of AI and data analytics,” said Ajay Paul, Vice President, Oracle Ecosystem, and Partnerships at Tata Consultancy Services. “This will enable them to drive greater business agility and innovation in the AI and data analytics space.”
What This Means
For Indian businesses, this move by TCS and Oracle means they’ll have access to cutting-edge AI and data analytics technology and expertise. This will likely lead to increased efficiency, productivity, and competitiveness in the market.
