<p SpaceX is set to attempt the 12th flight test of its Starship spacecraft, with a 90-minute launch window opening at 5:30 p.m. CT on Friday, May 22.
Yesterday’s launch was scrubbed due to a minor issue with the launch tower’s retracting pin, which failed to secure in place. SpaceX engineers have reportedly resolved this problem and are now ready to proceed with the test.
Starship’s Long-Term Ambitions
When completed, Starship is designed to be a reusable and versatile spacecraft capable of carrying both crew and cargo to the Moon, Mars, and other destinations in the solar system.
