Recent Attacks and Casualties

Russian attacks have continued to impact civilians severely. In the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, three people lost their lives, including a 20-year-old woman, with eleven others sustaining injuries, as reported by Governor Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram.

In the Kherson region, two individuals were killed, and one was injured due to a series of drone strikes, air attacks, and artillery shelling, according to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin.

Ongoing Violence Across Regions

Continuing the streak of violence, six people were injured in Dnipropetrovsk due to Russian assaults. Additionally, five were hurt in the Sumy region as confirmed by local officials, as reported by the Kyiv Independent.

In a related event, one person was killed, and another wounded in a drone strike targeting a border village, Nechaivka, currently under Russian occupation in the Zaporizhia region. Moscow-installed Governor Yevgeny Balitsky provided this information via Telegram.

Retaliatory Strikes and Defense Measures

On the Russian side, reports indicated that a Ukrainian attack resulted in one woman’s death and injuries to a man in Russia’s Belgorod region, as disclosed by the regional task force on Telegram.

In an assertion of its defensive capabilities, Russia’s Ministry of Defence claimed to have successfully shot down 140 Ukrainian drones within a 24-hour timeframe, according to the TASS state news agency.
