**RCCG Targets 100,000 Nigerian Youths with New Tech Fellowship**
The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) is launching a massive tech fellowship initiative aimed at training over 100,000 young Nigerians in data analysis, AI, and software development. This move is part of the church’s Mega Music Festival 2.0, which promises to be a hub for innovation and technological advancement.
The RCCG Young Adult and Youth Tech Fellowship is designed to equip Nigerian youths with the necessary skills to compete in today’s job market, which increasingly demands expertise in technology, data analysis, and software development. With the rapid growth of AI and its applications in various industries, the church sees the need to bridge the skills gap and provide opportunities for young Nigerians to acquire hands-on experience in these areas.
At the launch, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, General Overseer of RCCG, emphasized the importance of technology in shaping the future of Nigeria and the need for the church to be at the forefront of this revolution. He noted that the fellowship is not only a response to the nation’s need for skilled workers but also an opportunity for young Nigerians to discover their potential and make meaningful contributions to the country’s development.
What this means
The RCCG’s tech fellowship initiative could be a turning point in addressing the skills gap in Nigeria’s technology sector. By training over 100,000 young Nigerians in AI, data analysis, and software development, the church is not only empowering them with valuable skills but also creating a pool of experts that can contribute to the nation’s economic growth and development. As Nigeria continues to grapple with the challenges of unemployment and underdevelopment, this initiative offers a glimmer of hope for a more technologically advanced future.
