Seven universities globally have just become hubs for pre-university students to gain hands-on experience in various engineering disciplines, thanks to the expanded IEEE TryEngineering OnCampus program.
The program, administered by IEEE Educational Activities, initially offered engineering experiences at two universities but has now increased its footprint to seven institutions worldwide. Launched as part of the TryEngineering initiative, the OnCampus program aims to introduce students to innovative engineering projects and foster their problem-solving skills.
Partnership with Top Universities
The seven universities that now host the IEEE TryEngineering OnCampus program are: North Carolina State University, University of California, Los Angeles, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of New South Wales, University of São Paulo, University of Toronto, and University of Waterloo. These institutions will provide pre-university students with access to state-of-the-art facilities and experienced engineering faculty.
