Chief of Defence Staff General Anil Chauhan hailed the inauguration of the NIBE Shirdi Defence Manufacturing Complex, labeling it a crucial step towards India’s self-reliance in defense production.
The NIBE Shirdi Defence Manufacturing Complex is the latest addition to India’s push for self-sufficiency in defense manufacturing. It is being established in association with Tata Advanced Systems Ltd, under a contract worth over ₹800 crore, with plans to create jobs for over 5,000 skilled workers.
