Mobile data usage is expected to nearly double, increasing from 7 Gbps (gigabytes per second) in 2021 to 13 Gbps by 2031. This rapid growth is largely driven by increasing adoption of 5G services and declining data tariffs. India has been at the forefront of mobile technology adoption in recent years, with an estimated 700 million mobile internet users already online.
