NVIDIA Warns of Tight Memory Supply for Coming Quarters
NVIDIA’s CFO, Colette Kress, has set the stage for uncertainty about the company’s ability to grow in the gaming sector amid current memory shortages. Despite reporting record growth following its Q4 earnings for fiscal year 2026, the company’s focus on AI and data centers raises questions about its continued growth in the forthcoming fiscal year.
NVIDIA CFO Cautions Investors on Gaming Growth Uncertainty
During an investor call, Kress was asked about the company’s expectations for year-over-year growth in the next fiscal year. She responded that the memory supply is expected to be “very tight” for the next “couple of quarters,” making it too early to predict growth.
“We do believe for a couple of quarters, it is going to be very tight. If things improve by the end of the year, there is an opportunity to think about what that is from a year-over-year growth [angle], but it’s still too early for us to know at this time, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can,”
